  1. Yeah since discovering Ashampoo Burning Studio I havent used anything else. I find it very user friendly and is feature rich with lots of options. Works great and no coasters as of yet for me!
  2. First off, any company that would fire you for something so petty isn't worth working for. Secondly, always ask before you do something/anything with an employer and/or their equipment. You pretty much belong to them during your work hours (some of us belong to them on our off hours too......). Also, I would look at your employment contract. If you haven't violated it, you could sue them for wrongful dismissal. Unless you have a union. Then you would have to file a grievance through them.

  10. Hi all, just a little problem I noticed with the newest ccleaner install (slim version). I installed it on both my laptop and desktop. After running it (and not changing any of the preferences at all) it deletes my cookies that are saved, but not all of them. And it deleted different saved cookies on each computer which was really weird. For example, my saved email logins on one computer no longer are in the safe list, but my other computer is fine. One computer still auto fills the login on certain websites, the other does not. When I look in ccleaner itself and in my safe cookies list i noted that a lot of the previously saved cookies are missing-but not all of them. just an fyi.
  11. Or just get her her own computer, lucky for me my wife barely uses mine, but I do have to race the kiddos to them sometimes......
  12. doesnt windows have this feature installed?
  13. and it works great, been using it on my system for a year now.
  14. im sure they will work the bugs out shortly. once it gets out and people are reporting problems, lots are working on solutions to them.
  15. cannot you just buy a switch which then adds the extra slots?
  16. @Lulu..........if you work out in the evening give yourself about 3 hours of no food or drink (other then coffee or water) before the workout. That way your sugar levels drop - which forces the body to use fat for a workout. best program for fitness: bodyforlife by bill phillips. and his eating for life book. awesome recipes there. Its all a lot of work, but in 12 weeks you make ridiculously positive physcial (and mental) changes to your body. First meal of the day is important, make the best of it.

    cyber crime ?

I can honestly tell you that if they want your data, they will easily be able to attain it. It is SO EASY for criminals to get your personal info in so many ways that its almost a loosing battle. We seriously need some sort of internet regulation that supplies information in a more stable and cryptical way. Big banks, credit companies, major corporations have their data bases hacked regularly-and pay out to keep it quiet.
  18. I don't eat breakfast as I go to the gym soon after arising (I have one cup of coffee first). As soon as I am done my workout I have a protein shake, 3 hard boiled eggs and a piece of fruit-which is the best time of the day to eat-right after a workout. The reason I do not eat first as first thing upon rising your muscles are depleted of sugars and carbs, so when you do strenuous exercise your body is forced to oxidate fat for fuel and energy, which helps you stay lean.
  19. I bought the Blackberry Storm a few months ago and it is awesome! It has a touch screen, sound quality is great, excellent for email, web browsing is nice, and the 8 gb card is fantastic for swapping out and putting new material on it for viewing. Also, you can change out the battery (i bought a second one for back up) so if you are gone for a long period of time and dont want to carry the charger its very convenient. As a backup, I have a motorola razer as pay as you go. Also a great, simple phone with good sound quality. I have to say though, after seeing the iphone, it looks to be an AWESOME phone/toy to have in your pocket, and when the next generation one comes out I will seriously look at switching providers and jumping onto the mac fanboys bandwagon.
  20. i dont like it personally. can't i just bookmark and search for pages that i like? i don't need any kind of distraction while surfing. it's almost like advertisements.
  21. it sounds like rogue antimalware to me...
  22. I wouldn't touch Norton with a ten foot pole. Kaspersky i would go with. But I've been very happy with NOD32 and it doesn't conflict with anything else (if it in fact is conflicting with IE8....). Works great with opera, ie7, and firefox so im thinking the issue must be ie8 not nod32...
  23. I agree. MBAM, superantispyware and windows defender are all good apps. I wouldn't go crazy, run one real time antispyware and keep a couple and scan now and then to make sure things are clean. Too much stuff just bogs you down and you spend all your time updating things and not having fun.
