  1. That should work. Can I be bothered if it won't necessarily make any difference...ccleaner should, after all these years, be a program that can at least disable some piddling chrome things.
  2. I have a laptop and a PC, only the laptop has this problem, both using Chrome.
  3. Thanks, but you didn't? answer my question. And can you tell me what msconfig has to do with Chrome? Re your Microsoft quote, what's the point of them being checked or unchecked if they don't make a difference to them running as startup programs under a Tab called startup?
  4. When i Ctrl+Alt+Del nothing seems to be running, i get the screen that offers me the option to turn the laptop off etc. The only thing that happened differently in safe mode, was more cookies and history were found, but i still couldn't disable/delete the above things.
  5. Chrome works as normal. Only the things mentioned above run on any of the Tabs.
  6. Yes, sorry, I have tried disabling and deleting, when I do for both, I get, 'some of the selected items cannot be changed as they are protected by the browser'. They're unchecked in msconfig too. Laptop is slow, I have 75mbps speed internet.
  7. Hi, So, Tools - Startup -Google Chrome Tab Key Program Version Profile App Gmail 8.1 Person1 App Google drive 14.0 P1 App Google Search 0.0.0.30 P1 App YouTube 4.2.8 P1 Extensions Google Docs 0.5 P1 offline They all offer a destination file, but there's no file. I need to delete these things cos my laptop is now running ultra slow, like dial-up hehe Thanks for your time and help!
