  1. I have recently recovered with Recuva some erased pictures from a camera memory card. Some of them look fine when shown in the Windows 8 file explorer mosaic and médium size icon file views. However, when those pictures are opened, either with Paint or Photo Viewer, the images are incomplete or corrupted. By corrupted I mean that there are at least two images superimposed; something Recuva alerted me before recovering that particular jpg file. I named incomplete those pictures that have large portions on a single color; typically purple. It is strange that you can see the whole images in the small icons in the file explorer but you are unable to get the whole image when using a photo viewer file. Can anybody suggest me a way to recover the original pictures by removing the alien color and/or superimposed image? Thanks a lot, Al
