  5. Thanks, for the info I was going to try version 5.43 Today! I have been using version 5.40 for quite a while now and it works great. I will just stick with it now. See what happens with 5.44.
  6. Thanks for the responses! I am running windows 8.1 and still using ccleaner version 5.40. I wanted to make sure that version 5.43 was working correctly before installing. I guess that I will go forward and install it. Again thanks for the responses!

  8. Does this just happen to windows 10 computers or does it effect all computers?
  9. Thank-you very much!
  10. Can someone please tell me how this version works with I.E. 11? Does the scan take a long time? Do you have to untick the internet history box? Thanks
  11. I almost always use the most updated versions but lately the updates bring problems. 5.41 doesn't clean I.E. 11 history very well I have to untick the history in ccleaner or the scan takes forever. Version 5.42 has problems with chrome and the last scan I ran on it it took 5 minutes. So I hope 5.43 takes care of both problems.
  12. Sorry to write again but I do update Google Chrome will that be a problem?
  13. I am using windows 8.1 with I.E. 11. I don`t plan on any updating so I should be ok with version 5.41 correct? Thanks for responding!
  14. Can someone please give me a yes or no answer to this question. I have downloaded ccleaner version 5.41 and my computer works very well with this version is it ok to stay with this version and not update to the newer versions? Do a lot of people stick with older versions?
  15. Could someone please answer is it ok to stick with the older version of ccleaner? I would like to use this version for a long time.
  16. Will it hurt anything if I stay with this version for a long time? I mean do I need to worry about any viruses? It just seems lately that there are issues when ccleaner updates.
  17. I went into filehippo and it starts with version 5.31. Can't get to 5.41
  18. Today cleaner 5.42 took 5 mins. to run. Could someone please give me the link to go back to cleaner 5.41 or 5.40!
  19. I am not sure what to do at this point in time. I am using windows 8.1 and the newest version of ccleaner. I check my mail in chrome and then I log out and then I use ccleaner and then I shut down. The next day I do the same thing again with no error messages. Is it safe for my computer to continue to do this? It won`t cause any damage will it?
  20. I just installed the latest version on a windows 8.1 computer. The scan took 36 seconds is this normal? Also it did not delete internet explorer 11 cookies. Did anyone else have this happen to them? Does it matter how long a scan takes? It would not damage the computer would it? If the scan takes a long time I mean. I am asking because I scan nightly.
  21. Ok thanks I am running windows 8.1. Do I have that in here?
  22. What is mse? I don't know how to add that directory to the white list. If I run a scan with I.E. history unchecked in cleaner it finishes in 22 seconds.
  23. When are they going to update this version of cleaner? I ran a scan with my windows 8.1 computer today and it took 127 seconds. This has been going on ever since this latest version came out. For me it appears it gets stuck on the I.E. history. This scan normally takes 3 seconds. PLEASE FIX THIS VERSION!
