as nergal stated above, I guess what I've been using isn't actually an antivirus. whoops. I booted into safe mode and tried to uninstall chrome, locked up and frozen again :/ sent from my tiny internet

there were some other ones listed but I cleared them. google was the default one. I use the antivirus included with chrome. sent from my tiny internet

I have cleared the cache from inside chrome. when i say crashed, I mean that everything on the computer locks up and becomes unresponsive. the mouse still moves but nothing responds to being clicked. ctrl/alt/delete does nothing as well. I did see that pinned topic. the 'run in the background' box is unchecked and I unsynced my history. same problem, ccleaner & my entire computer lock up at "google chrome internet cache". sent from my tiny internet

hi, my laptop has been freezing and locking up lately more and more, especially while watching videos. I dled ccleaner to try to help it out a bit. every time I try to run the cleaner, it freezes at "google chrome internet cache" and becomes unresponsive so that I have to hold down the power button to turn it off. help! my computer has crashed about ten times today and it's really bumming me out. windows 7 home premium 64-bit SP 1 intel core i3-2350m cpu @ 2.3 ghz, 6.0 ram thank you for any suggestions. sent from my tiny internet
