Since buying the above phone I've noticed that the ability to clean SMS messages has vanished. Is this part of the restricted access given to the Android 442 operating system or am I missing something obvious?

The version of CCLEANER I have on my Samsung S4 no longer has the option to clean SMS messages. Could this have something to do with the write access that Google has imposed on Android 4 4 2?
