So basically ....I should just give up on them...

Surface and I tried it portable and regular said cant run on this machine goto windows store where there are no utilities like this.

I have a Microsoft Surface tablet and lost some pictures. Is there any programs that could help retrieve them. I am running win 8.1 and did not have file history on. Any programs I try say it cant run. I have not used it since the loss happened. Thank you for any help. mike
