Found them, my brain is mush after wrestling with a search hijacker for several days that was downloaded with a program apparently.

Thank you Andavari , I did save it and looked for how to recover that and only found system restore under tools. I'll look harder lol, appreciate the reply.

Hello, can unused file extensions HKCR zapped by Ccleaner be reinstalled? Thanks

I have spent several days cleaning bugs, including "Missing shared DLLs" leftovers from a long ago uninstalled program. I just ran CCleaner registry cleaner and many of these files with the boxes 'ticked' showed up in the scan My question: if I click "Fix selected issues" will it reinstall these items? Thanx
