  1. Hi, Are you looking at 'Date Modified' or 'Date Accessed' for the files? CCleaner's basic rule refers to 'Date Accessed' - so a file created last Tuesday and accessed yesterday would not necessarily be removed. And... please forgive me if this seems like an obvious question.... are you checking which files have/have not been removed using Windows Explorer ?

    Messages.

    Hi, The 'Hide Warning Options' option, when checked, will stop CCleaner displaying some of it's warning messages when particular options are checked - for example 'Wipe Free Space' Have a look under Options -> Monitoring. You may have CCleaner set to prompt you to clean after you close your browser.
  3. Have you made any changes to your (UAC) user account control settings?
