  1. Thanks for the answer, it didn't help though. I was going through all the documentation you linked on CCleaner, but it was so much my head started to spin a bit. So I decided to look at that other problem I was having for a second; disc control. While I was going through those steps (I had just clicked the box to schedule the disc control after shutting down), everything froze again and it all shut down. So disc control automatically started. That failed too, was going at it for over half a day and it just froze on me. All I get now is a black screen and "boot from ahci cd rom operating system not found".. My heart sunk, I think I lost a whole lot of photo's and other important stuff, was just about to back them all up.. I'm lost now, no idea where to start. A walkthrough on what to do now (without losing my valuable data) would be so, so appreciated!
  2. Maybe I should start with posting the registry cleaner log. It's so big, I had to break it up in 2 posts: Obviously, I'm not good with computers.. I encountered a variety of problems these last few days-week. I've got 2 major problems, the most urgent windows message is that I should check space capacity for a back-up. The other one is that I should solve a problem with my computers harddrive. I ran a back-up yesterday, but it failed due to not enough room for storage on my D drive, I'm not sure what to do with that now (delete the incomplete back-up file? or not, and from where and how, I googled a little but got confused about conflicting messages). I think I should've reported the latter first with checking my drive for errors and maybe repair them instead of doing the back-up first. Anyways, after googling on what to do, I kept getting results that I had registry issues which needed to be fixed (computer running slow on startup and shutdown, websites loading slow and flash consequently breaking down on video's, plus, when I try to rightclick pics in my documents in C drive it constantly freezes on me requiring a forced system shutdown), hence me downloading CCleaner and running it. I'm pretty much clueless on what to do now though, so a little help is greatly appreciated. Should I just press "fix selected issues" on CCleaner or address the (incompleted) back-up and such first? I ran spywareblaster and microsoft essentials something something, no results, so I don't know if it's related to malware/a virus, dropping the laptop a couple of weeks ago (not hard and on the carpet), or me just cramming the disks full of useless crap and not paying close attention to updates and/or problems (with malfunctioning programs) quickly enough. I'm eagerly awaiting a reply, sorry if I'm not posting this in the right section btw, tia.
