These folders are created after installing some extenstions that come with the program.
  3. I was just wondering and I suppost some do grow over time, as well. I just thought if they regenerate back, then why add an entry to it. Seems like a waste of space for Winapp2.
  4. Looks like he removed Filekey 1 - 4 and added Filekey 1 to remove all logs in there. The others only had parts of the Logs folder. Does anyone know why we add entries for regenerating files? It seems kinda pointless to add entries for files that regenerate.
  5. This might be a dumb question, but how do you find registry keys for steam games? For instance: [serious Sam 3: BFE Logs*] Section=Games Detect=HKCU\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\41070 DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam 3 FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam 3\Log|*.* How do you figure out that this game is Apps\41070? Where do I look to find that out?
  6. Definitions for OneCare stopped when it was discontinued or when MSE came out.
  7. Spydefense, Spyware Doctor, and Windows live OneCare don't even have download links anymore. Thus no one can use them, even if they wanted to. The others I just threw in more as a notice. Was just another suggesstion to shrink Winapp2.

I am quiet interested in why there are so many entires for discontinued apps that no longer exist for download anymore.
  9. Nice update. Everything seems fine on my end. Steam users will defently benefit off this update.

Windows 8 has different directories for those 2. Might have to make seperate entries or additional filekeys.
  11. Never mind, I found what the issue was and attempting to fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  12. There is no reason to be judgmental. SMalik did a very good job at finding more system files that are useless. Winapp2 hasn't had many new system file updates lately. I am looking at the Peerblock entry and for some reason, it's not being detected on my system, meaning the entry isn't showing up in the cleaner. [Peerblock*] LangSecRef=3024 DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Peerblock FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Peerblock|*.log;History.db;*.bak;cache.p2b My path directory is located in ProgramFiles (not x86) then under PeerBlock. I did not find any registry keys or appdata in relation to Peerblock. Anyone have any idea why it's not being detected on my system?
  13. +1 on adding the Steam Cookies and cache and adding tf2 entries. I also noticed the steam .old files in there. Wasn't for sure what the resembled, but I deleted them off my system a few days ago and steam is running just fine.
  14. That's fine. I have my Windows Help removed so I figured maybe someone else didn't want it either?
  15. These weren't added or missed? 16. I have mine in the 64-bit path and it didn't include PC Starters.
  17. @JDPower: Mine is not located in PC Starters, its just Performance Maintainer. @Winapp2: No. There are txt files and .ini files that shouldn't be removed. Those 3 directories don't have any of those. In case your wondering, the backup files are in .xml document format, not in any .reg format or anything.
  18. 19. Yes that is a good idea, FreeRyde. I was creating those really late at night and was not thinking correct.
  20. [Windows Update Logs*] LangSecRef=3025 Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\WindowsUpdate Default=False FileKey1=%WinDir%\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs|*.* FileKey2=%WinDir%\SoftwareDistribution|*.log FileKey1 files regenerate to its original state so the entry is useless to have and I added FileKey 2 because I have an event log reporter in their for updates that was up to 500kb and now is regrowing back to 1kb. While I was searching in that same directory, I noticed alot of cab files containing xml documents. These files are quiet useless, but I don't know how to create entries for them. Maybe someone can investigate. They are in almost every folder located in SoftwareDistribution. We could possibly remove FileKey1 as the files in there seem to regenerate to its original state. Also, I am wondering on this entry: [Windows ME*] LangSecRef=3025 DetectFile=%WinDir%\WINFILE.EXE Default=False FileKey1=%SystemDrive%|SCANDISK.LOG FileKey2=%WinDir%|*.tmp FileKey3=%WinDir%\Application Data|dw.log FileKey4=%WinDir%\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs|*.* FileKey5=%WinDir%\APPLOG|*.LGC FileKey6=%WinDir%\Windows Update Setup Files|*.* CCleaner doesn't support Windows ME anymore, am I correct? Also why is their a spybot entry in their? 22. Looks like crash dumps for any game or program that had a crash. I currently have disciples.exe (game) and explorer.exe (windows) DMP files. I am on Windows 7 64-bit, by the way, so it might be different for windows 8 or xp. I think this belongs under the application section.
  23. New Entry: [CrashDumps] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=%AppData%\CrashDumps Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\CrashDumps\*.*|RECURSE This is my first one I created myself without any help. I don't know if it is right, but I'll give it a shot.
  24. Did winapp2 finally find every program on the web? It hasn't been updating much lately.
