  1. Yes. When he posts an update, there will be an update then.
  2. What about FileKey5=%WinDir%|SIGVERIF.TXT?
  3. I guess his new year wish didn't come true. Well, there is always next year.
  4. Calm down JDPower, it was only a joke. He should take as much time as he needs with Winapp2. I am sure he has more important things to do in his real life.
  5. All registry backup cleaners were removed from Winapp2 due to some problems in the past. As to the other issue, this should fix it: EDIT: [Revo Uninstaller Backups*] LangSecRef=3024 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\VS Revo group FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\VS Revo Group\Revo Uninstaller Free\BackupsData|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\VS Revo Group\Revo Uninstaller Pro\BackupsData|*.*|RECURSE Removed the following entries: FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\VS Revo Group\Revo Uninstaller Pro|*.bak;rupilogs.rupldb FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\VS Revo Group\Revo Uninstaller Pro|*.bak;rupilogs.rupldb I haven't used revo in many years, so I do not know what FileKey 1 and 2 are suppose to do.
  6. Good point. I am surprised people even use updaters anymore, like Filehippo update checker and others. Every program I have ever use have a auto-updater built right into them to keep itself updated.
  7. @CSGalloway: Isn't that the folder responsible for downloading updates through Filehippo? If so, I would recommend putting a warning on that.
  8. Hey Winapp2. You never answered my question about putting Winapp2 on GitHub. You said you needed help with it and I offered to help you.
  9. He always manages to miss atleast one thing every update, haha.
  10. Sorry I edited my post. The other 2 didn't need that Detect2. Just the one in the post now.
  11. Found out my issue with StarCraft 2 entries. Edit: [starCraft II Logs*] Section=Games Detect1=HKCU\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II Detect2=HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey2=%Public%\games\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey3=%SystemDrive%\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey4=%Documents%\StarCraft II\GameLogs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey6=%Documents%\StarCraft II\UserLogs|*.*|RECURSE Added Detect2, for people who play StarCraft 2 in 64-bit, which happened after the 3.0 patch for the game.
  12. [starCraft II Logs*] Section=Games Detect=HKCU\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey2=%Public%\games\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey3=%SystemDrive%\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey4=%Documents%\StarCraft II\GameLogs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\Starcraft II\Logs|*.* FileKey6=%Documents%\StarCraft II\UserLogs|*.*|RECURSE The detect on this entry, the registry key it is pointing to, does not exist on my system, however I am still getting log files that the FileKeys are pointing to. Was the registry key changed in a StarCraft 2 update? Can anyone else confirm this? I am on a Windows 10 64-bit and I also play StarCraft in 64-bit (since you can play it in either 32-bit or 64-bit).
  13. @Droyk: Sounds like you are making another Notepad++, correct me if I am wrong.
  14. @JDPower: Nevermind my post. When i saw this "Default=FalseFileKey1=" I thought at first it said FalseKey=1. Lol, sorry for my stupidity.
  15. What is FalseKey1= mean or is that a typo?
  16. Is that apart of CCleaner because I do not see that in the Winapp2 file?
  17. @Nergal: If only I knew who the developers were, haha. I don't think I ever even seen them post here on the forums. @mta: Thanks. Fixed it.
  18. Edit entry: [battle.Net Client Logs*] Section=Games Detect=HKCU\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Battle.net\Client\Blizzard Launcher.*\Logs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\Battle.net\Client\Logs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\Battle.Net\Logs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Battle.net\Client\Blizzard Launcher.*\Logs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Battle.net\Client\Logs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey6=%LocalAppData%\Blizzard Entertainment\System Survey|*.log|RECURSE FileKey7=%UserProfile%\Documents\StarCraft II\GameLogs|*.*|RECURSE FileKey8=%UserProfile%\Documents\StarCraft II\UserLogs|*.*|RECURSE Added FileKey 7 and FileKey 8 By the way, why doesn't CCleaner regonize entries by Default=False by default? Most cleaners usually do it like that, anywyas.
  19. I think he (Trader5858) was trying to tell us he made a file called winsys2.ini and wanted to combine it with Winapp2 entries. I was looking through them and he has some listed websites that I don't understand what they were for. He also had some more agressive entries in there. I don't know, maybe some of them are ok to add, if anyone wanted to go through them. I wonder if that was Neverbloom on a alt account? He did mention Neverbloom's ban. Makes you wonder... Anyways, anyone know when he will be able to update the Winapp2 file. Also, I would suggest throwing it on GitHub. It would help in situations like this.
  20. Just so you know, Trader5858 is a spammer. Be better off banning him.
  21. I assume he is talking about Clam Sentinel and ClamWin combining. The reason that never happened, yet, was because the original developer of Clam Sentinel, for some reason, did not want to combine them and he wanted to move away from ClamWin and make his own AV out of it, but, since the original seems to have abandon it, my parter and I decided to improve the heuristics of Sentinel and combined it with ClamWin. I agree with you though, that should have been done along time ago.
  22. I assume, since my original question never gotten answered, that this would be okay to do: Remove entry: [skype Installers*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Software\Skype Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Skype|SkypeToolbars.msi|RECURSE FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\Skype\*|Skype.msi|REMOVESELF Edit entry: [skype More*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Software\Skype Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Skype|*.lck;*.lock;cookies.dat|RECURSE FileKey2=%AppData%\Skype\*\*cache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\Skype|*.*|RECURSE Added FileKey3. This FileKey will do everything that the Skype installers does, plus more.
  23. As trium said, that is what Clam Sentinel does, however, there has been talk about combining them, along with some improvements to the heuristics.
