  1. I've been using Ccleaner for a couple of years now om my IBM Thinkcentre M52 with Windows XP Professional SP3 without any problems. I usually wipe the free space on my hard drive weeky which used to take about 30 minutes. After I downloaded the newest version 4.11.4619 my computer now tells me it will take 24 days to wipe the same amount of free space. I tried going back to the older version of Ccleaner but it still wants to take 24 days. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
  2. After I downloaded the latest versions of Recuva & CCleaner I've run into a problem with recuva not wanting to overwrite files. After I scan for files and highlight all of the ones I wish to overwrite & then click YES on the secure overwrite box the Operation Completed box brings up the Status message "Not overwritten-More data is available". I've tried going back to the older versions of Recuva that ysed to work right with no luck. Also CCleaner used to wipe my free space on drive C in about thirty minutes. The newest version is now telling me it will take more than 24 days to do the same operation! Any ideas of what's going on? I have a ThinkCentre M52 computer with 2gigs of RAM! I'm also using windows xp pro service pack 3. There's no mention on Piriform instructions for Recuva as to what "More data is available" means!
  3. I've been using Recuva for a couple of years now on an IBM ThinkCentre with Windows XP Professional.....Ever since I loaded the newest version I haven't been able to overwrite any files. Recuva does all three stages just fine and brings up all my deleted files but when I try to overwrite them I get the following message.....Not Overwritten-file system not supported for this operation....so, is this a problem with Recuva or my computer?
