I am using version 5.83.9050 and when I select custom clean and ccleaner is in the middle of the scan ccleaner will sometimes close right in the middle of the scan. It dosen't happen all the time, but it has happened at least a dozen times since this new version.

I started getting this two days ago. When I force CClearn to close Edge Chromium it will work, but then what is weird is when I go back online after running CCleaner Edge will say that my last session was ended abruptly and if I want to restore my last session. When I did that it took me to the last website I visited before I ran CCleaner. I think it may have something to do with the latest windows update.

I just turned off Kaspersky, then installed CCleaner. After CCleaner was installed I turned back on Kaspersky. Or you can go to the Manage Applications settings and add CCleaner to the trusted list.

Ok I figured out what my problem was. My Kaspersky virus protection was blocking the program. I usually get a warning when something is getting blocked, but no warnings this time.

Yes I tried that. It starts to work, but the install ends at about 75% to %80 (I can't tell exactly when it ends because it happens so fast).

TTH1953, I never had the Pro version. I have always used the free version. Is there a place where I can download the previous version? I un-installed the old version (5.47.6716) but since the new version is not working I don't have CCleaner now.

I am trying to install the latest version of CCleaner (v5.48.6834). At first I tried to download over the previous version but that didn't work, then I tried to un-install the version I had and install the new version but that didn't work either. When I click on the exe file it will start to install but stop at about 90% and quit. PS: I am using the free version

I am having the same problem. But I think it is because the new version is not correctly uploaded. Because the page where you download the latest version still says I am downloading v5.42.6495.

Just wanted to let you know that I downloaded the new version again just now and it installed fine this time.

I am trying to install the newest CCleaner version (5.37.6309). I keep get the following error. error opening file for writing c:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner64.exe I using Windows 10. How come I am getting this error?

If I am reading the detailed results right it is the SuggestedSites.dat file.

I got a new computer a few days ago and I am using Windows 10 now. There is 1 file CCleaner will not clean, Internet Explorer - Temporary Internet files. It is a bit annoying because I don't use Internet Explorer on this computer (I only use Microsoft Edge and Chrome). Why is CCleaner not cleaning this 1 file? PS: I an using version 5.33.6162 64bit

I would also like to report CClearner v4.02.4115 is not deleting my temporary internet files. I am using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 10.
