  1. @nateinva I noticed typo in one of your screenshots above. support.periform.com s/b support.piriform.com
  2. Just bumping this thread to get a belated fix for the previous CCleaner release (v5.65.7632) announcement! Thanks in advance!
  3. @Stephen CCleaner In Announcements forum posting for CCleaner v5.65.7632, https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57660-ccleaner-v5657632/?do=findComment&comment=317202 "Read more" and "View the full article" links at end of posting BOTH link, incorrectly, to exactly the same release announcement for v5.64.7613 https://www.ccleaner.com/news/release-announcements/2020/03/03/ccleaner-v5647613 rather than the appropriate release announcement for v5.65.7632 https://www.ccleaner.com/news/release-announcements/2020/03/24/ccleaner-v5657632 Also, two links to the
  4. Doing a search on the path, C:\Windows\Temp\CC-Updates\UPDATE-FA2D7D3123A488949AB5ED5991C2CAA2.EXE I concur with hazelnut that the "CC" in the path refers to Adobe's Creative Cloud software and NOT Ccleaner.
  5. Announcement for CCleaner v5.62.753 contains bad download links for CCleaner Free and CCleaner Professional, with "forum.piriform.com" rather than "www.ccleaner.com" in link URLs, which should be corrected. Download now! You can download CCleaner Free here. (LINK URL: https://forum.piriform.com/ccleaner/download) Fancy a few more features? Download the CCleaner Professional trial version here (LINK URL: https://forum.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/professional) Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.
  6. Should this topic be moved to the following forum? https://forum.piriform.com/forum/37-ccleaner-browser-suggestions/
  7. Great job on the changelog. Thanks! One correction though: "Explorer MRUs * has been modified." should be changed to "Explorer MRUs * was removed." See APMichael's pull request, https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/pull/166
  8. Like [Windows ShellBags *], [Window Size/Location Cache] may be an entry users may NOT wish to enable. I know this is true for me. So, keeping [Window Size/Location Cache] as a separate entry from [Other Explorer MRUs] entry, as is the case currently in winsys.ini, would be preferable for these users.
  9. Missed one. https://forum.piriform.com/topic/32310-winapp2ini-additions/?do=findComment&comment=291884
  10. Can break Windows 8+, not 7, correct?
  11. Just a very minor typo in comment on line 652: ; Thunderbird entires. --> ; Thunderbird entries. Thanks!
  12. Your "NEW" [skype Messages*] entry is actually modification of existing [skype ChatSync*] entry below. [skype ChatSync*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Software\Skype Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Skype\*\chatsync|*.*|RECURSE IMHO [skype Messages*] is clearer name for this entry. However, because of bad experience for me personally (and many others as I recall) when clearing of Skype "chatsync"/message history was first added as part of [skype More*] entry in 2011 version of Winapp2.ini, I would highly recommend that this replacement entry for [skype ChatSync*] be modified as follows to a
  13. Like DazzyBox, on my PC running Windows XP SP3, I too have noticed that CCleaner's (CC) (v4.08.4428) Tools->Startup->Firefox tab is showing only data for plugins and data for extensions is missing for Firefox (FF) 26 and later (after just upgrading to FF 27.0b2 yesterday). Under FF 25.0.1, CC's Tools->Startup->Firefox tab was in complete agreement with FF's Tools->Add-ons ("about:addons"), showing 4 extensions (3 enabled, 1 disabled) and 17 plugins (15 enabled, 2 disabled). After removing FF 25.0.1 including profile data, doing a clean install of FF 26.0 including reinstallati
  14. On my PC running Windows XP SP3, I just upgraded Firefox from 21.0 to 22.0b2 and found discrepancies as listed under CCleaner's (v4.01.4093) Tools->Startup->Firefox tab. Under Firefox 21.0, CCleaner's Tools->Startup->Firefox tab was in complete agreement with Firefox's "about:addons", showing 6 extensions (5 enabled, 1 disabled) and 18 plugins (16 enabled, 2 disabled). After upgrading to Firefox 22.0b2, with NO changes in extensions/plugins, Firefox's "about:addons" information stayed exactly the same, however CCleaner's Startup->Firefox tab information was no long
  15. On my PC running Windows XP, the above entry, included, I believe, in winapp2.ini v4.00.130412, broke scanning software for my HP printer by removing registered TWAIN Data Stub DLL/Module file C:\WINDOWS\twain_32\hpqgnds2.tmp which has an unfortunate filename extension for a registered file, and forced me to recover file/reinstall scanning software from HP installation CD to get scanning software working again. Please remove this entry for [Twain Temp Files*] from winapp2.ini or add severe warning that this will break HP printer scanning/digital imaging software. Thanks in a
