Thank You! That seemed to fix the problem. Interesting why I let it bother me rather ask. Like a guy asking for directions I guess.

Everytime I run cc cleaner it stops and ask if I want cc to close Chrome (even though it is not running) and I say "yes". Then it comes back asking if I want to force it to shutdown Chrome and I say yes. Then it finishes cleaning. I know after looking at my running process's that Google Chrome is running. Can this be fixed? How would that be done? Thanks Jerry

something that will crash my system but how would I use it if my registry is damaged how do I get to the backup file?
