I have this same problem but I am not running Bit Defender. CCleaner gets to a file and hangs. It will then run for hours but never delete the file.

I have had the same problem with Windows 7 Home Premium. I deleted the temp file so it showed up in the Recycle Bin and then CCleaner deleted it. It has happened a few times and each time CCleaner will run for hours but never move past the file it is hung on.
