  1. Of course I am aware of Gustav, I just didn't understand you mean his unfinished symphony. Do you mean that deleted files on a SSD cannot be recovered?
  2. I never knew that Recuva also overwrites space. Also only the free space or the whole space? What do you mean with this question? What about SSD? My Samsung SSD doesn't support Secure Erase by Magician.
  3. Hello! Is it advisable to clean USB sticks or memory cards with Wiper (as whole or only free space)? Thank you for your help!
  4. Here is my process-list from admin account, I can't see any Mozilla related things (except Firefox of course) Can I delete my places.old-file?
  5. @Nergal *sing*.......don't you forget about me.....don't, don't, don't...... :)
  6. Here is it. It is significant that this errors occurs, no matter whether old profile or new profile. I copied my firefox user account profile to firefox profile folder on admin account, but this error occured also before I did it. When I uncheck "Internet History" in "Applications"-Tab -> Mozilla Firefox, then this Microsoft C++ Exception doesn't occur CCleaner_v3.27.1900_2013-02-27_01-00-04.txt
  7. did I get it right: instead of places.sqlite I make place.old and not something like places.old.sqlite? I ask that because sqlite is the type of the file.
  8. Yes I can. The Firefox-Version is 19.0. History effecting add-ons? Hmmmm, I have Mozilla Archive Format, UnMHT, PrintEdit. But all the add-ons in the admin account are the same one at the user one. I exported the user mozilla profile to admin mozilla profile. What's this places.sqlite? The problem occured even long time before I copied user mozilla profile to admin mozilla profile. I attach also the debug log from user CCleaner. The same place.sqlite file is also in user mozilla firefox profiles folder. CCleaner_v3.27.1900_2013-02-22_23-53-32.txt
  9. it occurs either, and here are the processes active during the cleaning
  10. So I've started it in debug-mode, here are the results. (Admin-account, where the error occurs) CCleaner_v3.27.1900_2013-02-22_21-35-50.txt
  11. To 1.) how do I run CCleaner in debug mode and recreate the error? To 2.) I use both. But the error occurs only in user mode. OS is XP SP3
  12. and these are? what about the issue difference between admin and user account?
  13. The interesting thing is that this only occurs in admin account, in the user account it doesn't occur. Which Mozilla and Firefox application instances f.e. are still there, when I kill Firefox process?
