GOM is a FREE media player with popular audio & video codecs built-in. GOM Player Features Codec Finder GOM Player includes many codecs (XviD, DivX, FLV1, AC3, OGG, MP4, H263 and more) so you won't need to install separate codecs for most videos. For those videos that require a separate codec, GOM Player will find one and direct you to a place where you can download open source version of the codec. That way, you won't get stuck with unnecessary codecs on your system. Play Broken AVI Files (Patented) AVI files can't be played if the index is broken, or the file isn't completely downloaded. Ubuntu

I tried it, I thought it was slow and too confusing. Too complicated for the average user to install and use. Has problems with ATI cards, I didn't figure out how install the ATI driver, having to go into that command line thing, xserver. What the heck is a "terminal?" We shouldn't have to learn command-line terminal things. I think Linux is 10 years behind in terms of desktop use. What is their target audience? If they want Ubuntu to be a Windows alternative, they're far off.

  4. Does anyone know of a file deleter that can delete pretty much anything? Encrypt/Secure Rewrite thing so it can't be recovered isn't important. Just delete files that can't be deleted by right clicking and delete I.E. Files from P2P applications w/ file names longer than 255 characters (Windows can't delete those for some reason) Stuff like delete on boot, delete by short name, etc..
  5. i would go for e200 since it's flash based instead of microdrive video (ya ya, you prob won't many vids on tiny screen but still, you can watch them) radio microsd card slot iono archos seems like a nice player too though..
  6. Suck. The only usable feature for me was freezing and crashing.
