  1. To close this out. Support helped me. Running a deep scan and restore file structure worked, the structure came back under recycle bin ad I was able to them move the directories. Thanks!
  2. Your response does not bode well :-( have never used that backup software, it is not installed. I reran the disk drill analysis I posted last after your software's analysis.
  3. When I run your software with no mask it does not find my mp3 files. I ran Disk Drill again, no config, just scan disk and after max 5 min scan it finds all the files I am looking for:
  4. I ran with no filter and got:https://snipboard.io/qxm9UM.jpg No mp3 files or folders, gutted. Again, nothing has been done on the external drive since I deleted E\mp3s. Why does Disk drill find them all? Is it a better product?
  5. Apologies, music drive should have read music folder. I deleted my music folder, shown in the picture from an external hard drive.
  6. I just bought the software having used CCleaner and Defraggler many many years ago. Because of the funny old posts at the top, I initially thought this community is dead! I deleted a music drive off my external disk this evening. As shown in the screenshot drill disk found everything including all the folders which is vital on the first scan. I don't want to pay 100 to them so bought yours instead. But I get this annoying message no drives were scanned because none match the filter? I have e selected. How can I get past this and recover my stuff?
  7. I have been a long time user of ccleaner. I just installed it on a new windows 7 machine and after reading http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/ccleaner-how-tos/scheduling-ccleaner I set it up with the /auto switch. The thing is I have absolutely no idea what ccleaner has done when it cleaned. It being the first run on this windows 7 machine I have had for months I would have liked to know Having a log is a very basic feature, have you considered adding it sense?
