  1. Hey, thanks. Interestingly enough, when I ran it with the /debug switch it didn't freeze. I ran it a second time without the switch and it completed with no issues also. Leave the thread open for a few days to a week - let me rack up some temp files and fill my Recycle Bin and I'll either post a log if I have any issues or I'll post that's it's working fine. Thanks again, zp.
  2. Hey, guys. Used CCleaner for a year on this PC; there have been no hardware changes. After a recent format, the "cleaning" feature of CCleaner causes the PC to become completely unresponsive to the point that I have to hard-reset. The un-installation feature works fine. Initially it hung on the Recycle Bin. I reset the bin and the following run passed by the Recycle Bin fine but then hung on the next temp folder in line. I've tried secure deletion with 3 passes and normal deletion, each with the same result. C:\ is an SSD - I haven't seen anything indicating that it may be going bad. Any insight would be appreciated. 3. Hey, guys. I have this same issue. After a recent format, CCleaner hangs while cleaning. Initially it hung on the Recycle Bin and I reset it according to the link above. On the next run it passed the Recycle Bin (which I had recently emptied by another process) and hung on a temp folder. I've used secure deletion with 3 passes and normal deletion, each with the same result - the PC hangs and becomes completely unresponsive forcing me to do a hard reset. C:\ is an SSD. Any insight would be appreciated.
