  4. Hi All, There have been many users asking why CCleaner for Mac has not been updated in the App store. This is due to Apple introducing a sandboxing requirement. As a result, for an application to be introduced (or updated) in the App store it needs to use a Sandbox, meaning that it can only have access to its own files and some user files/resources provided by OS X (more info here) As CCleaner is about cleaning data from the system and other applications it no longer meets the App store requirement.
