  1. I created a batch file to split winapp2.ini into separate text files by the category codes. I needed to get all the game entries in winapp2.ini into one file. I wanted to share it if some else finds use for it. It also creates "rebuild.bat" which can be used to rebuild winapp2.ini using the splitted text files. e.g. to exclude a category from winapp2.ini, first delete its text file, or edit the categories individually from their own text files. split.zip
  2. This also prevented auto updating of adobe reader from version 10.1.0 to 10.1.4. [Adobe Reader 10.0 Setup Files*] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0 Warning=This will prevent a repair installation. You have to download the installer for a reinstallation. Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Adobe\ARM\Reader_10.*|*.*|REMOVESELF FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\Adobe\Setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-*-7B44-AA1000000001}|*.*|REMOVESELF
  3. It was confusing for me if the winapp2 entries under the Firefox/Mozilla section without the name begin "Firefox" will apply to Pale Moon also, because CCleaners official entries under this section apply to both firefox and palemoon and winapp2 entries come with and without the name begin "Firefox". Including that the winapp2 firefox entries will show up even if Firefox is not installed but only Pale Moon is. My proposal is to change the firefox entries to have the name begin "Firefox" or not to have, but only one way for all of them. I would also change the SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA to so
  4. Some Firefox entries didn't have the "Firefox" name on them and some did. As a Pale Moon user I didn't know if they apply to it also or only for Firefox. I changed all of them to have the "Firefox" name tag on them: [Firefox Adblock Lite Backups*] LangSecRef=3026 SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\adblocklite|patterns-backup*.ini [Firefox Adblock Plus Backups*] LangSecRef=3026 SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\adblockplus|patterns-backup*.ini [Firefox Bookmark Backups*] LangSecRef=30
  5. Here you go, Entries for Desura [Desura Game Installation Cache*] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKLM\Software\Desura Default=False FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Desura\Cache\games|*.*|RECURSE [Desura Game Installation Tools*] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKLM\Software\Desura Warning=This will remove tools that are needed in game installations, like DirectX runtime. They will be re-downloaded on next game installation that needs the same tool or if verifying game's data. Don't use this if you want to save download bandwith! Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Desura\DesuraApp\tools|*.*|RECURSE Exclude
  6. [Nexus Mod Manager Trace Logs*] LangSecRef=3021 DetectFile=%Documents%\Nexus Mod Manager Default=False FileKey1=%Documents%\Nexus Mod Manager|TraceLog*.txt Tested on xp. Couldn't find any reg key for detection.
  7. Entries for Adblock Lite addon (a fork of the Adblock Plus): [Adblock Lite Backups*] LangSecRef=3026 SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\adblocklite|patterns-backup*.ini [Pale Moon - Adblock Lite Backups*] LangSecRef=3026 Detect=HKLM\Software\Mozilla\Pale Moon DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Pale Moon\palemoon.exe Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon\Profiles\*\adblocklite|patterns-backup*.ini Edit: should these detect the folder of the the addon instead? It isn't that commonly used compared to the Plus
  8. The environment path %ProgramData% works only in vista/7, and not it Xp. But in DetectFile paths section it is stated that, This was just what I needed for my entries. Isn't this the right way to use the %CommonAppData%? Btw here are all the paths for windows xp:
  9. My entries for Nokia Suite. [Nokia Suite Installer Cache*] LangSecRef=3021 DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\NokiaInstallerCache Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\NokiaInstallerCache\PackageCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\NokiaInstallerCache\ProductCache|*.log|RECURSE [Nokia Suite Updater Cache*] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Nokia\Nokia Suite Warning=This will remove Nokia phone firmwares, applications and all other files stored by Nokia Suite Updater.
