As long as it's not firemen but images like this I think it might work . @Kas Warthogs makes some of the best Salami I have ever eaten so looking at that background will make me hungry every time.

  4. Windows 3.0 RTM May 22, 1990 So that makes it what 18 years ? Link for some interesting reading XP will not go down easily as it's only 13 years old. RTM August 24, 2001
  5. @Alan_B I just had a look on version 4.14.4707 still no checksum validation. I performed same tests as I mentioned in link provided in #4 still get no hits on my end.

Okay let met correct you once again, for the last time, I did not say she looks like Ashley Greene. I said if he said Ashley Greene and not Alice from "Twilight" then I would have known who he was talking about. I am not the type of guy who remembers actresses by their screen names but rather by there real names. As DennisD so clearly indicated, she has some similarity to Alice from "Twilight"
  7. Hey dmitriy1980 Please read this post titled "File Finder: reliable, save or not ?" There are a lot of bugs within the File Finder function

@Kas Funny thing is I never said she looks like Ashley Greene, only that I did not know who Alice from "Twilight" is. I also think that DennisD is correct in saying she looks like Alice from "Twilight" in some images I have seen from Alice.
  10. Chinux brought to you by the Emperor - propaganda distro .
  11. Back to the ban of Win8 in Chinese Government: Link Looks like XP will never die. Makes me think of the song Dragula by Rob Zombie.

I had to look up "Alice from Twilight" if you said Ashley Greene then it would have been a different story :) .

  16. My 1.75 free updated to the new v2.0.2 when I clicked on Update, So 1.75 is coming to an end really soon. v2.0.2 did change a bit but still on the slow side, the only thing I really noticed in performance is the process on how MBAM scans your files. But as mta stated it didn't take too much to get used to it.
  17. I only heard bad news about the Seagate and some of D-Links NAS rang, that why I am looking at the Synology mentioned in my original post. Cash is always a problem in today's world.
  18. I use Thunderbird and my Gmail accounts to POP my mails, Outlook will store the mails within a .pst file. Then yes LuLu your emails are stored as a file on your system and on Gmail server. If you do it the same way as I do it and not using the IMAP protocol you will be able to delete the files from the Gmail server and the mail will still be on your PC or delete it from your PC and still be on the Gmail server. Deleting it from both locations will remove it for good then.
  19. @ Mta and TheWebAtom Seeing both of you mentioned you guys are using a NAS (Network Attached Storage). What NAS are you using ?
  20. That is very, very true. Automation of backups are still the best I think for emails and docs/data.
  21. So this is Mta signature Made me wonder even if some people actually do back up their data as I am busy neglecting it. If so where to or how do you back up your data ? If using sync software please include and why you are using it. I am currently looking at this Synology DiskStation DS214se 2-bay NAS Server (234,7 USD & 140 Pounds) for home/business use.
