  1. CCleaner v5.36.6278 x64 - Run as Admin Win7x64 - Administrator Hello, Ccleaner is unable to delete the contents of C:\tmp and it doesn't show up in my Analyze list either. I have it included in my Custom Files and Folders and that option is checked as well. The contents of C:\Temp are cleaned just fine. I don't have the 24-hour option checked. My environment variables are set to C:\Temp and C:\tmp. I'll post my settings if needed. It's very long and complicated. I searched it thoroughly for "tmp" and found nothing but the expected entries: Include40=PATH|C:\tmp\|*.*||0|0|24 What am I doing wrong?
  2. Ccleaner Startup is so thorough that I want to start usining it as my full-time startup control application. There are two things holding me back: I need to be able to execute the command. Many of the items have command line perameters added so launching through Explorer won't help. I use this when I've decided to disable an item, or I closed it, and I want to open it again, quickly. I also use it to test my newly created startup commands. Second, I need to be able to create new startup items. I use this feature a lot in another app but that one isn't as thorough as ccleaner. Editing would be nice as well but I can always create a new item and delete the old one to do that. I can understand if it isn't appropriate for the general user. I just want to give the developers a thumbs up on this feature actually. I am very pleased with its accuracy. I think you guys have hit the fine line between excessive and incomplete. Any more analaysis should be done with something like Autoruns by Sysinternals. Thanks a lot!
  3. This is still not fixed in my Win7x64 v4.02.4115x64. Intel Rapid Storage Technology and Intel Control Center They are listed as being installed yesterday even though I haven't updated them sine April 2012. Also, the date in Windows Uninstaller is correct as well as Revo Uninstaller. I checked the C:\Windows\Installer folder and the Program Files folder for the files and nothing has been changed. Date Created, Date Modified, Date Accessed, and Date Last Saved were all checked. Nothing on 6/9/2013 at all! I can't figure out where ccleaner is picking up this date. Everything else seems OK actually (I have many programs though.)
  4. +1! I've been using multiple profiles for a long time to manage privacy... and my addon addiction. :-) I think most Ccleaner users would be in the "savvy crowd" that knows how to make smart use of Firefox profiles. btw: I LOVE how CCleaner detects browser profiles anywhere on my computer. I don't have to worry about Ccleaner catching my portable settings on various hard drives that are currently attached. Thanks!
  5. Just happened to me. I know you're trying hard to fix it. Thanks! Using Ccleaner 3.11, Win7 Sp1 32bit, LinkShellExtension to create the reparse points. I created a Junction in C:\Program Files to P:\My Data, then delelted it. I did this again with a symbolic link. (C:\ and P:\ are on different hard drives). Everything seemed fine -- programs running from the P drive still exsisted for a few more days. Several days later, I did a normal Ccleaner file cleanup and then rebooted. When Windows started all of my files in P:\My Data were gone! (Recovered some of it with Recuva, but a lot of work was lost.) I have done every virus scan feasible, scoured the Event Viewer, and retraced all of my steps. Everything keeps coming back to the moment I deleted the junction and sym link from the recycle bin with Ccleaner. I am positive it followed one of the links and deleted my folder. I know I was stupid not to backup, and even more stupid not to check what was being cleaned-up, but I often delete videos, so a large recycle bin is normal. I'm quite savvy with Ccleaner so it took me by surprise. I also let Ccleaner run unattended every week with MyDefrag. Scary! I've never had a problem with a reparse point deleting the linked files from the recycle bin before, but I will definitely do some testing after this.
