  1. I seem he asked me two questions. 1. In some case, the strings length (space) is too short to translate correctly. If you had already conveyed it to the developer but negrected, you had no reasen to continue your translation work. The developer is not interested in your mother language. The developer never respects your language and your translation. 2. About the strings "Cancelled by user". This "by user" is meaningless. Because user already knew that he had pushed the cancel button. The developer always assumes the every cases. And the sentence which the developer chose has the meaning. There are many cases which at the time immediately before User push the cancel button, the program detects System error or itself error, Processes conflict, Anti-Virus disturbs, etc... It's not necessary to distinguish the normal cancelled case and the others abnormal case? It's not better to recognize which of User and Program cancelled? I deleted the document in 1st post since he had already checked it. Added I think the person whom you should ask those questions is not me but the developer.
  2. Hi, MONKEY_THE_100TH, I couldn't understand well what you meant. But I seem that you want to make me do the translation work instead of you. You fix your mistranslation or you quit in the mid of works, it's your business, not mine. I know that here in Piriform forum, many user reported the bugs, the glitches and the issues when they found. Piriform staff examines them, and will correct them if necessary. The staff never says "Since you report the problem, you should fix it.".
  3. I had also checked the Speccy Japanese file. Most of Japanese strings of S.M.A.R.T. part were taken from Japanese Wikipedia. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-Monitoring,_Analysis_and_Reporting_Technology But the translator had directly copied the "Descriptions" of those items. Therefore, Japanese strings are very longer than English strings. That is an only funny story. But the problem is in another point. The contents of Wikipedia were directly implimented in the one of Speccy component. But, there are no mentions to the origins and the GNU Free Documentation License. I worry that Speccy is standing on a Licensing Violations.
  4. Dear, Piriform staff, Do you know Recuva Japanese file has many serious mistranslation. I summarized some of them, but not all. https://docs.google....cC1tVG5tT3pGbkE You should check all Japanese translation strings and correct them.
