  1. Thanks I did this -- I will see how it works. The files are not temporary internet files... they are temporary system files but have not been on it since I did what you said to do. I also don't really know what boxes should be marked on the cccleaner. I have marked everything in the first two sections (except for history and passwords) and then on system I have the first 6 marked, last 5 not marked and then on advanced -- nothing marked. Is that correct? Registry cleaner I have them all marked. Thanks for your assistance. This computer has had issues and hope this will resolve it.
  2. I have several computers but one computer has a problem and I am trying to figure out the source. When I run CCleaner --- there is an enormous amount of System temporary files -- like 4 mil KB. Other computers are never that high. Unfortunately that computer has Vista on it and I am temporary using it at home. The computer had a high % of defrag that was not corrected -- so I reinstalled the system and it went down to nothing. Now 1 month later, it will defrag and still have 31% not defragged. HELP!
  3. I am not a computer person really -- so my question might be very basic -- I just had my system re-installed and the defragler was down to 0 == now after 3 weeks it will only go down to 24%. What do I have on the machine or am doing to create just a high fragmentation?
