  1. The 2 programs mentioned show 7200 rpm for my hdd. Speccy only shows the following: Hard Drives Hitachi HTS721060G9SA00 Manufacturer Hitachi Product Family Travelstar Series Prefix Standard Model Capacity For This Specific Drive 100GB Heads 16 Cylinders 16383 SATA type SATA-II 3.0Gb/s Device type Fixed ATA Standard ATA/ATAPI-7 LBA Size 48-bit LBA Power On Count 2870 times Power On Time 620.5 days Features S.M.A.R.T., APM, AAM, NCQ Transfer Mode SATA I Interface SATA Capacity 59GB Real size 60,011,642,880 bytes RAID Type None S.M.A.R.T 01 Read Error Rate 100 (100 worst) Data 0000000000 02 Throughput Performance 117 (117) Data 0000000D0D 03 Spin-Up Time 245 (245) Data 0000000001 04 Start/Stop Count 099 (099) Data 0000000B36 05 Reallocated Sectors Count 100 (100) Data 0000000000 07 Seek Error Rate 100 (100) Data 0000000000 08 Seek Time Performance 118 (118) Data 0000000025 09 Power-On Hours (POH) 066 (066) Data 0000003A2C 0A Spin Retry Count 100 (100) Data 0000000000 0C Device Power Cycle Count 099 (099) Data 0000000B36 BF G-sense error rate 100 (100) Data 0000000000 C0 Power-off Retract Count 099 (099) Data 00000000CE C1 Load/Unload Cycle Count 058 (058) Data 0000066AE9 C2 Temperature 125 (125) Data 00FFFE002C C4 Reallocation Event Count 100 (100) Data 0000000000 C5 Current Pending Sector Count 100 (100) Data 0000000000 C6 Uncorrectable Sector Count 100 (100) Data 0000000000 C7 UltraDMA CRC Error Count 200 (253) Data 0000000000 Temperature 44 °C Temperature Range ok (less than 50 °C) Status Good Partition 0 Partition ID Disk #0, Partition #0 Disk Letter C: File System NTFS Volume Serial Number D8460087 Size 56GB Used Space 28.5GB (51%) Free Space 27.4GB (49%) Is there somewhere else I should look? BTW, I'm using the portable version. If it IS in the installed version, can it be put in the portable version?
  2. There are only 2 free system information utilities that I know of that show hdd rpm: the discontinued Everest Home 2.20 and the rather large SiSoft Sandra Lite. It sure would be nice to have that info in Speccy. (A friend had a replacement hdd installed, and I wanted to make sure it was what was ordered.)
