I did not uncheck that APMIchael, and I am aware it needs to be checked. This is what so maddening. After an update, this happen's, and then I have to deal with UAC daily.

So how does one give Ccleaner elevated privileges? Thanks

How to set free CCleaner to run on bootup, but NOT get asked UAC prompt? For years now I install cCleaner on new machines and I, disable both "Options | Monitoring" enable "Options | Settings | Run" cCleaner when comp starts. Then cCleaner runs great for awhile, but after updates, UAC pops up during boot? If I use the reset feature, no fix, still see UAC. Thanks

Hello On Win 7, with cCleaner in the startup folder, upon startup, Win pops up the UAC every time I boot. How do I stop that? Dont want to have UAC off completely, I have it in position 2 (2nd weakest) Thanks Al
