  1. Strange as it is the very same download used for all the other systems. I'll uninstall and try again
  2. So after dealing with the 6104 issue all systems (Win10, 8.1 and 7) all systems now have 6105. All looks good except my Win8.1 systems. When I launch CCleaner it looks like some master program meaning I have a ton of optional items to check or uncheck. It is only at the Application tab, example in there my Firefox now has 37 options to tick, under the Windows Store there are 26. The normal items that I have defaulted with checks are still there, but the other items are sorted of greyed out. They also have some sort of asterisk by them. See pic
  3. Same here on all versions of my Windows systems. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and Windows 7 Pro and Home 64-bit
  4. So I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and using the latest CCleaner (free) release. Strange thing is that under Options > Monitoring > I have both Enable system monitoring and Enable active monitoring checked. But in the startup area the icon is not there nor does it seem to have been started. The only way to have it show up is if I launch CCleaner the icon appears. If I exit then the icon stays. The only time it does not appear is when I reboot or just startup my system in the morning. I also have Windows 8.1 and 7 machines and those work fine; icon is there. But both Windows 10 machines this behavior occurs. Is there another setting I am forgetting to set or is this a Windows 10 thing? It just noticed this so i do not know how far back (version) this began happening. I have uninstalled and installed CCleaner with same results and I do not see anything out of the norm in the Administrator logs. System icons are off and only the ones in the taskbar are there. But all my other ones are set to off and they are in the startup, but not CCleaner. Any ideas?
  5. Okay, got this fixed BEWARE - CCLEANER scheduled task area has a bug. If you delete an entry in CCleaner, it causes this problem. I removed the problem item and now ALL the tasks appear and run accordingly. This is a CCLeaner issue because if you delete a scheduled task, YOU NEED TO DELETE EVERYTHING and not some of it. Leaving these pieces is what causes Windows 7 Tasks Scheduler to give you an error. HH CLOSED
  6. I have 5 computers that have the free version of CCLeaner loaded on them. Now I use a backup program to back up data on each of them. One strange thing though, I recently added schedules to the back up program on each computer. When I go to in CCleaner, Tools, Startup and then the Scheduled Tasks, 4 of my computers show the scheduled backups in this list. ONLY 1 computer does not show the backup items on it. How do I add that information to the list in CCleaner?
  7. Okie-dokie, thanks for the info
  8. So I was reading in here, but I have not been able to find the actual number. It is stated that when CCleaner cleans the Prefetch folder of old items, what are considered "old" items? 2 days old? 6 days old? 14 days old? Just wanting to know. Thanks
  9. I was wondering if this cleared out the cache, but I just ran a test and I see it does not. Thanks for the reply.
  10. Thanks and I found out about the ##. 11.0 was Office 2003, 12.0 is Office 2007 (but that I have to keep since I am still using Visio 2007) and 14.0 is Office 2010. I removed 11.0 and then ran CCleaner and it removed it. All programs still are working as I ran them, opened files, saved, etc. So than you on that. I have another question, not sure should I ask on this thread or start a new one? It is regards to the Application tab under Applications. The main one I have a question is "Compact Databases"
  11. Hello I am new to the forum, but not to CCleaner. I am using version 3.10.1525 and I am running Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit. At the main menu under the "Application" tab there are a list of items. The heading labeled "Applications" it lists some old Microsoft Office versions that I had once installed, but have moved on to the newer one. It lists Microsoft Office 2003 Microsoft Office 2007 Microsoft Office 2010 (currently have) Not sure if it matters, but all of them were licensed versions and were uninstalled using the Add/Remove in the control panel prior to installing the next version. Is there a way to remove the old entries, the 2003 and 2007?
