    I found a few entries with weird "Detect" lines and just wanted to make sure those are correct:

    The question should maybe have been:

    I would appreciate if you might want to consider eventually releasing a new version of Winapp2.ini since there are a whole bunch of fresh additions, please. This is of course only if you could without complication find some spare time you would want to use for this operation. Have a nice and fulfilling day, dearest Sir.

     

    I think it may even reduce workload if you release a new version if many entries get added/changed.

    1. [ code ] always works for me. Tried it in Firefox and Chrome. Maybe you are using the standard editor instead of Notepad++?

    1. Maybe you want to add this. Hope the entry is right. The files got several MB big on my PC and slowed down Chrome a lot. Maybe add a Warning.

    2. New. I just took [Comodo Dragon (More)*], created an other FileKey25 and replaced the paths with the equivalents of Chrome because I could find almost all of the files in the Chrome profile folder too. Cleaned my Chrome without any side effects (30mb).

    I am not sure if there is a way to make this clean this Temp folder for all users when CCleaner is run....or if that is desired.  :blink:

    1. Isn't that just the %temp% folder there? Should be cleaned by standard CCleaner without Winapp2. Please tell me if I'm missing something here.

    2. Also make it like this: FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Temp|*.*|RECURSE

    3. Tip: You can use "[ code ]" and "[ /code ]" instead of "Quote".

    4. Cleaning it for all users is only possible with CCleaner Professional or some other paid version, I guess.

    FileKey1 in this recommended New code breaks HostsMan's option to "Mark all updates as not installed" and then re-download all the updates and build a fresh HOSTS file.  I recommend that FileKey1 not be included.

    I have the latest version of Hostsman but I can't find that option. Are you sure we are talking about the same program?

    The regkeys work a lot like file keys, but I'm not sure those are worth deleting (they seem to identify the computer, unsure as to whether this is a function of hostsman or a privacy concern). If someone else thinks they are, I have no issue making the regkeys.

     

    Yes, the Steam entry and the TF2 one where intended to be separated. Secondly the Regkeys have nothing to do with Hostsman. Sorry for making such messy posts. :)

    The Regkeys belong to Windows Media Player I believe. Websites can identify the user using these keys and I don't think they have any other function.

    I have three Accounts set in Live Mail and on next start it asked me for the password of my primary account (only) and created these files in that folder.
