  1. Hi guys, Just registered. The only reason I did so was to report an issue that causes problems. CCleaner should not by default check the box to clean MS Anti-Malware, otherwise known as "Microsoft Security Essentials". Why ? Well because you wipe out the memory of the last scan, and every time I reboot, the icon for Security Essentials is orange rather than green - because it wants me to do a Malware SCAN again, even though I just did that. When I UN-checked this in CCleaner, that corrected the wrong behavior. Thus you should NOT have this checked by default, IMHO. Thanks guys, nice forum ! - Atmrover
