  1. Been using Defraggler for many years. First time to visit the forum in years. My external WD Passport drive is being reported as SSD when it's a normal 2.5" HDD. It's annoying, but I can still get it to defrag by clicking on the option drop-down next to where it offers "Optimize" and selecting defragment. Works fine, but takes an additional step. This is a good example of why I don't bother paying for it, since the free version does everything that I need it to do. Why would I pay now for a program that is ignored by its producer? Sad.
  2. During fragmentation, new fragments created are not considered in the displayed totals. For instance, this image shows that at 41% of the process there are no more fragments or fragmented files, but it hasn't completed: The fragmented files at the top and end don't show up in the count displayed, even though they're obviously present (though they were created during the defrag process, so weren't discovered during the initial analysis). Here's my color mapping just to be complete: I'm not complaining - I LOVE this program! Just want you to be aware someone else noticed. Jim
