  1. I have a ton of users on this system, do I need to do it to each and every folder? I could do it to the upper most folder (the user itself) couldn't I I cannot get the "Shutdown" scripts to run on Windows 7, this is where I call ccleaner. Is this associated with the security as well?
  2. Thank you for your reply Aethec, but that doesn't seem to work on my system? Anyway, I'd rather find a way to make it work like it does under XP, if possible? It was so nice, I had 1 script that called ccleaner and it cleaned everyones account ... please tell me we can still do this some way or another?
  3. Hello, I used to be able to add all my comuters user's "temp" directories, under the "Include" section of Setup. It works fine on my XP Pro system, but it will not function under my Windows 7 system. I tried everything, even when I run it under "Administrator" it will not clean any other user, except for the user you are logged in under. I'm sure this has to do with the advanced security that Windows 7 incorporates, but is there a way to get this to work? Also, I am finding that when I use the "/AUTO /Shutdown" feature of CCleaner, it does not work for any user?? Is this Windows 7 sec
  4. Another nice program worth considering is SuperCleaner, it can be found here; SuperCleaner Website It will clean all user's profiles. It can be configured to run automatically on startup.
  5. I've added "c:\progra~1\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe" /AUTO to a batch file that is called as a logoff script each time a user logs off the computer. The problem is that it only works for the user that installed ccleaner, it does absolutely nothing for all other users. Any ideas on how to get it to work for all users as a logoff script ?? Thanks.
  6. I hear ya, it sounds easy to you and me but trying getting your wife to hit that little icon when she has 2 children screaming in her ear!! I was looking for a way to do this fully automatic, whenever any of the other users logoff all of their "junk" files are cleaned up. Whoever reads this and can make it happen, please add this functionality for the sake of man-kind, or for at least fathers, like myself's sanity!!
  7. I want the cleaner to run when users exit the system, since I don't want to have to wait for all their junk files to be cleaned when I login ?? It sounds like it should be a no brainer to allow this to work for every user, maybe a future rev will allow this functionality. Thanks for your help.
  8. I added the following script to the Group Policies, under Windows Shutdown scripts. c:;Remove this below when installing programs, since this may delete needed reboot filescd c:\progra~1\ccleanerccleaner /AUTOcd\c:\progra~1\eraser\eraserl -recycled -method DoD_E -queue -silentc:\progra~1\eraser\eraserl -folder "c:\docume~1\Administrator\cookies" -subfolders -keepfolder -method DoD_E -queue -silentc:\progra~1\eraser\eraserl -folder "c:\docume~1\Administrator\locals~1\temp" -subfolders -keepfolder -method DoD_E -queue -silentc:\progra~1\eraser\eraserl -folder "c:\docume~1\Administrator\lo
  9. I tried what you mentioned, Supercleaner only ran for a split second. This tells me that everything cleaned up nicely with CCleaner. This would be an amazing feature to add to ccleaner, maybe the next rev ?? Thanks.
  10. Hi, I've added a batch file, as a logout script, to each user on our computer (4 users). This batch file contains the "c:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe /AUTO" entry. This script shows up under everyones "logout scripts" configuration, yet it's not cleaning properly. I know this because I run a program called "SuperCleaner", after running ccleaner, and it finds history files from the other users which should have been deleted had the script file done it's job. Is there something special that needs to be done to allow the global cleaning of everyones "crap" files using ccleaner ??
  11. Hi, Nice program !! I'm having a problem cleaning the found "issues" problems. I keep getting the sames ones showing up. I tried setting the permissions in the registry to "all", I even tried running your program under the Administrator, but nothing cleans them out. Any ideas ??
