After I had run the Issues scanner and fixed a whole load of problems, IE stopped accepting cookes. It was really weird - I fiddled around for ages with the IE Privacy settings, allowing all cookies, re-creating my allowed sites, but it was stuffed - I couldn't log into several sites that required cookie access.
Fortunately I has done a backup of my registry - I double-clicked on the backup and restored the registry, and - bingo! - IE started liking cookies again.
Weird or what? Anyone else had that?
I'm running IE 6.0.29 n Windows XP pro edition SP2.
