  1. Thank you Hunter, I understand I with my reknewing my marriage vows tomorrow--almost like a total wedding, my pocketbook is quite empty and echoing. I hope someone will assist, The more I read it sounds like maybe a registry issue or something dont know but it is happening to more than the 2 of us. Rev William
  2. Hi Compumind, I can only start speccy one time under a computer start where it works fine, I then quit out after checking temps and then I try to start the speccy program again and it then fails. Just started yesterday so I upgraded to the 1.11 and it still does the same thing. If I restart the computer or shut it down and start it back up I can run speccy again the 1 (one) time only and it fails again each time I try to restart the speccy program. Rev William
  3. Hello Hunter, I too am having the same trouble With 1.11. I rebooted and it works the first time then does not work again unless you restart your computer. using XP spc 3 if you find out a fix please share. William
  4. Thank you Gonetoplaid, Yes I agree and acknowledge that is true and definately happens here, however, the speed from the time you start speccy to the end after hours of running stays stationary and the multiplier will change frequently. Under any stress from idle to running a stress test which in previous versions changed the speed with usage as well as the multiplier. Thasnks Pastorwilliam
  5. Thank you Nikki, Yes, I hope 40c isnt so bad with 5 fans in a mid-tower case but my question still arises to ponderment. As I turn on the computer, for example, the HD's will start off at maybe 26c and the CPU will start out at 28c. When I say start up I mean as soon as I can get past start up in windows, but thankfully the seagate Momentus XT drive has cut down a 10 minute plus start up time frame downto about 2 minutes or less. Nevertheless, when I start up Speccy, why is it that the motherboard reads immediately at 40c and then never seems to adjust itself. Does a motherboard heat up that quickly and never cools down or gets warmer? Thank you again Nikki for the help and anything to help me get a clearer picture of this will be appreciated, Pastor William
  6. You should be able to go to FileHippo. I believe right under the download latest version, it also has several others and even a more link to view more earlier versions as well. Hope this helps. pastorwilliam
  7. Greetings Everyone, Hope to find everyone having a great day. I downloaded Speccy A little while ago to watch my CPU Temps since I had taken off the heatsink and fan and cleaned it up nice and replaced using Silver 5 and the break in period is now at about 60 hours of its 200 or greater time. Now comes the question. When I turn on the computer in the mroning or anytime I turn it on until I shut it down my Motherboard temp stays a steady--never flinching once at 40C. Here is a Print Screen: Operating System MS Windows XP Media Center Edition Professional 32-bit SP3 CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 32 ?C Manchester 90nm Technology RAM 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR @ 200MHz (3-3-3-8) Motherboard ASUSTek Computer INC. NAGAMI (Socket 939) 40 ?C Graphics Acer V173 (1280x1024@60Hz) 64MB GeForce 6150 LE (HP) Hard Drives 488GB Seagate ST95005620AS (SATA) 29 ?C 977GB Seagate ST31000340AS (SATA) 30 ?C Optical Drives TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652M Audio Logitech Mic (Pro 9000) As you can see, the temps for the cpu and HD's all change gradually or abrubtly from activity, never the motherboard. Am I reading this wrongly? 40C seems a little high. Pastor William. Thank you all for any help.
  8. Greetings All, I have a Amd 4200+ and it usually shows a core speed of 2204.8 and a multiplier by 11 and sometimes fluctuates down. Now it stays as the one specified.
