    Cookies

I have cookies unchecked in Firefox's clear private data tool. I simply allow Ccleaner to manage all my cookie cleaning. In Ccleaner leave the Applications>Firefox>cookies checked.

  6. Thanks for that Rridgely. This is much better than the new theme. I'm still pining for the loss of colourful tabs but I'm sure the author will update it before too long.

  10. @ Eldmanen, would you rather it cost $30 per year subscription? Everyone here loves your (unique ) contributions, but this constant harping on about what is and is not freeware is becoming a little tedious.

Hi , Andavari, why the "l" on the end of idea? Just curious. You do obviously know that idea and ideal are two very different words. We English find you Americans extremely baffling sometimes.
  12. I've heard Star Wars described as "Wagner for the under eights"
  13. Great article Humpty. Anyone who persists with IE is obviously potty from the eyebrows upwards. Use Firefox with the No script extension. It's much safer.

    about firefox

Maybe this Article will be of some help. Just because you switch to Firefox, it does not mean that you have to abandon IE. You can use which ever one you like. Indeed you can have them both open at the same time if you want to. As for windows updates, you can get these by going through IE in the usuall way or by using a Firefox extension such as IE tab Hope this helps.
  15. Version 23 seemed to work fine for me as well, but I've updated anyway. Just out of interest, what problems was 23 causing you?
  16. Well, I've just been giving Dr. Web a try but so far it says that every site I've visited has been clean. And believe me I've tried to catch it out by scanning some very dubious links. The usuall suspects that we all know...Screensavers, adult sites, P2P sites. Does this software actually work or could it be that my mind is so pure and I haven't given it a thorough enough work-out?
  17. Interpol have been alerted.
