CCleaner + TuneUp Utilities 2006 is a great combination, I used it for a long time. Then I started to look for a freeware and now I use CCleaner + Regseeker for reg cleaning and WinASO RegDefrag for reg defragmenting and I do not need tuneUp anymore. When I have download TuneUp again and started it it found nothing. It looks like TuneUp finds and deletes entries immediately and CCleaner finds and deletes them after 2 days.
  2. I started a few years ago, but then I have learned something. 2 years I had IE + AV + Firewall and I did not get even one infection (tracking cookies can be deleted by usings CCleaner). Since 2006 I use only IE + Firewall and still no infection so far. I have scripting blocked so succesfully, that I even can not allow it. When I set Trusted Zone to Low, I still was not able to run mars.google.com (Opera and Firefox work fine there). Without javascripts, there are no pop-ups.
  3. Absolutely. I have secured PC, so I even was not affected by that vulnerability. But I allways recommend Opera or Firefox to others, because setting up IE is not easy, although Beta 2 has the function "Fix Settings", so I wonder, how it is going Final version looks like. For me, IE is the safest, Opera fastest, Firefox extensionable.
  4. Krak do you know, how to set up Privacy Settings to High via registry? When I run my .reg all my settings are done, except that one, which I have to do manually.
  5. When I have CCleaner checked to "Delete index.dat files", then after restart, I am not logged in into forums. When I have it unchecked, I am still logged into forums. Do not know, if it is a bug or they way like Cleaner handle index.dat, but when I was using IE 7 Beta 1, I had no problems at all. By the way, CCleaner is the best security utility I have. EDIT: Sorry for spam, I have already found topic about it: http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showto...913&hl=IE7+Beta
