  1. v5.02.5101 (26 Jan 2015) changelog states "Improved detection and cleaning of portable browsers." Could someone please clarify how I can point CCleaner to a portable browser. I use portable Firefox & Chrome from PortableApps.com . Thanks. EDIT : I already have : CustomLocation1=FIREFOX|D:\Firefox Portable\Data\profile CustomLocation2=OPERA|D:\Opera Portable\profile CustomLocation3=CHROME|D:\Google Chrome Portable\Data\profile in ccleaner.ini. Guess what I really want is what exactly does "improved detection" mean. The location is already in the ini file.
  2. what exactly is the crapware ? CC installed without asking whether I wanted to install anything else. Normally 'Advanced Options' allows you to opt in/out of the crapware.
  3. Related query : So there's no real advantage in opting for a boot time defrag ?
  4. I built a Windows PE ( LiveXP ) using Winbuilder. I have included Defraggler Portable to the build. 1) What Defraggler files are actually needed for it to run in a PE ? I have : Defraggler.exe Defraggler.ini df.exe lang msimg32.dll portable.dat I had to add msimg32.dll to the folder. 2) Would defragging the Windows drive (C:) on the hard disk using Defraggler from a CD/UFD ( the LiveXP ) result in a better defrag than running Defraggler from the Windows installed on the hard disk ? ( if I boot from a CD/UFD, none of the files on the C: drive on the hard disk would be in use )
