    WinME

The reason I'm not running Win2K or XP is because of the size of the program, my laptop speed and the harddrive size. I'm slow about using this newer stuff. One because of affordability. Have to be able to afford to buy that. I don't know whether you know this or not, but Peter Norton was the one that designed "defrag" for Microsoft. in the early years. Norton has been used by me for a long time without any hitches for me, until WinME came along. I just wished the CCleaner had an ability to help to redo the software for faster running, myself. That'd be a big PLUS for WinME users!

    WinME

I just upgraded my Windows 98 to Windows ME recently. I also run Norton Utilities 2002 on my computer. I was having problems with using this software, especially the Optimatization Wizard. It would crash my computer everytime. I'd have to "roll it back" about every 3 days to a known good point of operation. I was looking for some software that would be a little more helpful. I found CCleaner! Since that time, I haven't had a crash yet! I just wanted other people to know this here and if they are having problems with their WinME, that this helped me dramatically. I also use Avast antivirus and Zone Alarm. So far, so Good. You are welcome to discuss any other issues you wish here, but I just wanted other people to know of my luck with using this with this operation system upgrade!
