I tried this program 2 years ago, and although I find the concept outstanding, I just got sick of having to check programs and then installing again pretty much, when whatever I download I'm pretty sure is safe....
If there was a way to make this program more user friendly I would be on board....

Interesting, thanx for the heads up on this, I use this software all the time, nice to know to stick with my current version....
-
I don't. I install the update than go uninstall the crap left behind. Never had an issue.
Thanx for this info, I always have wondered if I should uninstall the previous versions....

Pretty sure this is a limited time offer, its normally 19.95, I have no idea if this firewall is good or not, as I havent tried it, quite happy with my own firewall, just passing this info on....

You can still get updates for Ad-Aware SE you just have to install them manually. They are on this page at the top right.
Thanx for that, have no idea how to install them manually though....

I tend to agree they may not get many beta testers, but that's just my opinion.
I stopped using Ad-Aware after I had been using it for many years back since it's inception when they released Ad-Aware 2007.
Are there still links out there for the old version?
The new one sucks pond water....

Oh yeah, notice what firewall came dead last with a zero rating? Windows Firewall XP SP2, I knew it was crap but didnt realize it does nothing!

I suggest everyone check out Online Armor, its a great firewall, and, according to this website anyway, is rated one of the best, been using it for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed, check it out....
These firewall tests have some interesting results....

Shame on you fullbug, shame, shame, shame, you didn't tell use about that full six month trial when you got it.
LOL....
Actually, I think I may have heard about it here....
-
Evidently from what I've seen they've did that 6 month trial before.
Yeah. mine just ran out last month, got excited about a new 6 month thing for about 10 seconds until reading its no longer out there, hope they do another one....
I've always been really happy with the job AntiVir does....
-
I refuse to use IE7 until all the bugs are worked out, I'm perfectly happy still using IE6....
-
I would suggest going to the AntiVir forum and asking about it there....

You basically want a program that can handle layers (ie the main pic as the bottom layer, the persons face will be the top layer). I use GIMP (LINK) though it takes some getting used to. I'm pretty sure Paint.net and Photofiltre can both handle layers too and may be easier to work with for simpler stuff
Tried Paint.net, but couldnt get the layers to combine right, going to try Photofiltre, thanx....

Been looking all over for a freeware program that would allow me to overlap pictures, or in other words paste a pic of someones face overtop of another persons face, just tried a program called 2 Pic, what a piece of crap that was, is there a freeware program out there that would do this that works well? What would a program like this be called, a overlay program?
Any help would be great, thanx...

I have been using Avant for years and really like it, lots of skins, works fast, and I like how you can display 7 or 8 of your favourite links in an added toolbar, also I couldnt imagine life without Autofill (I aint paying money to Roboform for a feature I can get for free and works great), I dont find it buggy at all....

The odd time they give away some pretty good games, as far as software goes again sometimes its good, like I picked up the Pro Version of Advanced Windows Care, thats a great program, I find it handy to read other peoples comments on the software before downloading anything.....
-
I have been using Karens replicator for a couple of years now, great program, havent tried any other of her programs though.....
-
That sucks, downloaded the new version without noticing it was now shareware, anyone know where I could get version 5.3?
-
Looks alot to me like Faststone Image Viewer, is it any better?
-
I'm happy with it, I like the real time shield as well, hard to find a free program with that feature....
-
If you want to clean your registry CCleaner in a good program to start with....

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling yahoo. Or maybe a system restore.
Yahoo mail isnt something you install or uninstall, Yahoo Messenger maybe....
-
Be alot simpler just to use Unlocker (I just tried it on one of those folders and unlocker did its stuff and let me delete it no problem)
I was going to say the same thing, its always worked for me....
Total Uninstall or Revo Uninstaller
