  1. And Speccy 1.09 crashes/disappears in the same sort of way... Chris M
  2. Yes, SystemSuite 11.22 with AV components from Sunbelt Software, Chris M
  3. Have to add my voice to this bug; if I check none of the boxes in the popup brought on by the DEBUG parameter, then Speccy dies just as quickly. The attached log is from Speccy just being asked to analyse the CPU, at which point it freezes and has to be killed (at least, I lose patience with it after 5 minutes...). This is on XP XP3, and the log file contains this and only this: [2011-02-25 20:57:17] [iNFO ] CPU SDK at: C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIS~1.MIN\LOCALS~1\Temp speccycpuid.dll Chris M Just to add; Dependency Walker threw an error thus: MSJAVA.DLL Warning: At least one delay-load
  4. On 32-bit Win XP SP3, Speccy 1.07.205 shows many more peripherals than I have, mostly as a result (I guess) of reading the way that Windows holds the info. For example, here's the mouse and keyboard entries: Peripherals Logitech PS/2 Keyboard Device Kind Keyboard Device Name Logitech PS/2 Keyboard Location plugged into keyboard port Driver Date 5-10-2006 Version File C:\WINXP\system32\DRIVERS\i8042prt.sys File C:\WINXP\system32\DRIVERS\kbdclass.sys File C:\WINXP\system32\DRIVERS\L8042Kbd.sys HID Keyboard Device Device Kind Keyboard Device Name H
  5. Loaded new version of Speccy (1.07.205) and was pleased to see that my SATA drive interfaces were now recognised. Trundled through and was surprised to see my Logitech QuickCam E2500 masquerading as a playback device on the Audio page: Playback Devices Logitech Mic (QuickCam E2500) Actually, going back to it and looking again, I note that the Playback Devices and Recording Devices are simply in the wrong positions. Playback has the microphone and audio inputs, whilst Recording has the audio outputs and an ATI device driver... Markedly easier to explain, it's just a programming issue
