uh ..okay. so is it ok for the backup to appear as a .txt (as mine does also) and open it w/ reg edit if it needs to be restored. or is there an inherent problem with it appearing as a .txt

Thanx externe ! I did have that problem the first time i ran CC, had to re-download Macromedia i've been sorta afraid to run it again until i read all there is about cc any suggestions would be appreciated i also lost a few functions of my db power amp that was a bit harder to fix !
