  1. I'm not sure if this is possible or not. I'm wondering if using the command line options and df.exe it's possible to write a batch file that will defrag all drives, then defrag all the freespace on all drives, all one right after another. As it is, if I want to do this with all four of my drives/partitions, it's a process of checking back and running the next partition, etc, several times. I found some command help, but it didn't appear to have the capability.
  2. I set Defraggler to move archive, movie and image files larger than 250MB to the end of the drive before doing a full defrag on all of my drives. I know it's going to take a long time for the defrag itself and a long time just to move those files around. I've thought of two ways of speeding it up, but I'm not sure if they'll be effective or safe. 1) Setting the process to a higher priority than normal (I'm using Windows XP SP3) 2) Disabling my internet connection so I can safely turn off my firewall and virus scanner to free up some memory. Can anyone speak definitively on whether either of those actions are a good idea? Thanks for the help ============================================= PS - I also have a question about CCleaner: I recently went into User Accounts 2 and deleted my admin account and made a new one, while trying to solve a problem with getting a certain program to run with Administrator priviledges (it wasn't running like it ought to). I noticed while Defraggler is sorting through my files on my Windows drive, that there is a lot of old folders in the Application Data directory for programs that I uninstalled years ago. Does CCleaner remove these, or does it have to be done manually? And a broader question would be, what does CCleaner leave behind after cleaning?
