Hi fluffy. These dell e173fpp monitors have some well known faults.It is usually the capacitors on the power board that have gone.The capacitors bulge on top,its easy to see which ones are faulty.You need to desolder the bad ones and solder in some new ones of the same spec ,i must warn you though,the capacitors hold a charge and can give a nasty shock.Leave at least 24hrs if you do attempt the repairs yourself.
