  1. From Driver Updater in CCleaner, I'm told I have 66 Drivers, of which 10 need updating. When I look at the dates of the proposed updates, they are nearly 4 years old in most cases, and even 9 years old in another. I have another app which is specifically for Driver updating, and it tells me I have 202 Drivers, none of which currently need updating. This software does, from time to time, propose updates for Drivers with very current dates. I feel that something is amiss with CCleaner's Driver Updater software........... is there any other information available as to why this might be occurring????
  2. Quickly reading through some of the topics, I see that there has been some discussion on this subject. I am the first to agree that an automatic cleaning of the Registry would be absolutely dangerous and never to be undertaken. However, CCleaner has two functions relative to Registry cleaning ---- "Scan for Issues" and "Fix Selected Issues". I think it would be a very handy feature to be able to schedule in the Windows Task Scheduler an automatic execution of CCleaner with the Scan for Issues option only. The resultant screen with list of problems found could be presented and left for the user to act on as thought fit whenever was suitable. Any way of easily doing this??? Thanks.
  3. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and Internet Explorer 8 on my PC. I have CCleaner Ver. 2.33.1184. Whenever I try to use any of the features that need to access the Internet, e.g. "Check for Updtaes..." or "Online Help" or clicking the pear to visit the website, AND IF INTERNET EXPLORER IS NOT ALREADY RUNNING, then I always get an error message "Internet Explorer stopped working". If however I already have Internet Explorer running, then each of the requests functions OK with correct access to the appropriate place within your websites. I believe that this might be a "Compatibilty View" issue between your website(s) and IE8. Do you have a fix for this problem as it seems unnecessary to have to remember to have IE8 running, just in case I want to use it from CCleaner?? Thanks for any help on this.
