  1. I am finding that Chrome is not completely clearing the history on Chrome. I find that quitting chrome (I have "continue running background apps ..." in advance settings unchecked), running ccleaner and then checking chrome history by launching chrome and start entering a previous URL, Chrome offers an autocomplete. This site is not in my bookmarks. If I then go the chrome advance settings and clear all browsing data, the autocomplete is no longer offered. So, Chrome is clearing out something the ccleaner isn't. I have tried the sequence with reboots interspersed with no difference in the results.
  2. I did those steps and saw no difference. The files remained after reboot. I then ran ccleaner without running IE. The files still remained (as seen by ieviewer.) I then ran control panel Internet Option and was able to purge the files.
  3. I am seeing the CCleaner is not deleting all the cache files for IE11 under W8.1. I am running an ultrabook with Classic Shell installed. No Metro for me. My test procedure is... Surf with IE Run CcCleaner Run iecachview.exe (freeware) - note a buch of files existing Run Control Panel: Internet Options and delete browing history Run iecacheview.exe - nothing all the the previously noted files are gone.
  4. I have experience loop using v2.33.1184. Using filemon it looks like the program is stuck on a link to the computer which I have in my start menu for quick access: "c:\document and settings\geek\start menu\servers\my computer\target.lnk" ccleaner is stuck at 4%. The problem has been experienced twice. I need to CAD the system into a restart. Don't know exactly what clears it up. He are screenshots of filemon and ccleaner:
