  1. My spin retry count used to read "100 (253)" and now it's saying "100 (100)." Please don't tell me it's time for a new HDD because I've been through 3 this year alone. I can't afford anymore.
  2. When I installed iTunes, I restarted and my spin-up time decreased to 171 (171). Is this bad and what do these numbers mean?
  3. It first happened when I was checking email, and now it's happening while I'm watching a video on the internet. It's like a grinding/scratching sound coming from the HDD. Nothing appears to be wrong with my files when this happens, but I was hoping that I could post my HDD's Speccy report and see if something is bad. 4. Every time I clean out my registry, this key always appears. I'm running Windows 7 x64. Anyone know what this means?

    Question

How do I change my display name? There should be a "T" in between the "H" and the "M".
  6. I had to reformat because I got a trojan and didn't know how to fix it. I just deleted the System Restore files, so no more issues.
  7. You mean I can delete them without harming my system?
  8. So what will happen when I defrag now? The fragmentation will decrease?
  9. 1) What does "Recurse Subfolders" mean? 2) I've never had to do this with Defraggler, so why do I have to do it now?
  10. I did what you said but it said that no files were not defragged.
  11. After I defragged my computer, Defraggler had increased my fragmentation from 14% to 18%! Why is that?
