hahaha I used gamekey revealer to steal the cd key of a game from an internet cafe.I found this little Gem that may be of interest to some.
Time for a reinstall of your applications. Except that you forgot to write down the installation key of that software, and the CD case (or confirmation email) has long since been lost. So you face the prospect of having to buy another licence for that can't-do-without application.
If that sounds familiar, here's a possible solution. A tiny, free utility for Windows (XP and above) that retrieves and displays the installation keys for loads of Windows apps. There are other utilities that do this but the fact that this one is tiny and can be used from a USB stick makes it stand out. No installation required. CD Key Finder
PS: a game CD Key finder also available at the same link

maybe recuva doesn't support FAT drives?

its just false advertisements(everyone wants to make money or ruin people's lives). Besides I have scanned both of the software with multi anti virus programs and reported no any danger or whatsoever. Not trying to impose myself here as an expert on this -- nor do I use this software -- but I do think there is a difference between "System Protect" and "System Protect 2009," which is a known rogue app.

Sorry for doing this. I just thought that some names of my apps would make sense on what they do.Lyronx the purpose of this thread is to list free applications so others can think about trying them.
It is unreasonable to expect people to go through your installed list of applications and see which one they should try after looking it up on google (your suggestion for them to do)
Please stick to the spirit of this thread.

Here's all the apps I use. Just type them in Google or whatever search provider you have (please don't include the "setup"). I do not take any responsibility if you get infected by any type of virus, malicious, spy ware, etc. I have blackened out some apps because they are either: not trusted, obsolete, virus makers (no I don't go making viruses and send to everyone, I make viruses so I can test it on my old computer.) All the apps I use here have been scan thoroughly by my computer. Some of these programs are in ZIP archives when downloader, I have made an installer for them because I hate ZIP/any kind of archives. I have renamed some of these apps and you might not find them in Google so I will name the full name.
VLC Media Player
Auslogics Disk Defrag
LameXP (do not include "Audio Encoder")
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
PS: The programs: TotalMedia Backup and Samsung PC Studio came with my HDD/Phone.

Does this downloader work? I haven't tried it. You just choose the apps you want and get the installer and it installs the app you selected.

Fine you guys win lol. If you think its a bad program then I'll accept that. No harm taken =)

Sorry I was referring to Aqua.Lyronx, cut out the argumentativeness. Where did I say that it was fake? Please read the comments properly before getting defensive.
-
If its fake then how come I couldn't delete my OS Files using my other PC?Aqua is saying that toolbars packaged with software of this kind is almost always a sign of spyware/fake software. Personally I would touch the program you have recommended since your post seems more like spam than an actual plug.

what?system protect with toolbars..=no way jose.

since I have a new laptop... i have to use the 60 day trial norton 360. I don't even like it one teeny tiny bit. It was working fine for 2 weeks but whenever I try to open it up from the system tray, it would just show me a blank grey screen. Sigh... I wish this 60 days is over so I can delete norton 360 fully, including a Gutmann Method if I have to. AVG FTW!

uhhh but its free? i wrote this lol. I have read some discussions about Spyware Terminator in their forums. Some guy asked a question if they were the "Rogue" program. Spyware Terminator was a name used before them (I think) to be a rogue program. Mine is completely free and I got it from the original website.

I just found out this awesome program. It's called System Protect. It can protect your OS files and you can also protect your personal files. This program prevents your files from being deleted accidentally or by a virus program. Here are some of the great features: multiple levels of security, choose which files/folder to be protected, password application (if anyone tries to change the program's settings they will need your password) Read the webiste for more information.
PROTECT YOUR SYSTEM AND YOUR FILES NOW!
Need a free, reliable, fast, easy to use-anti spyware program? Then say hello to Spyware Terminator. I have been using this program for 5 months now and it is probably the best anti spyware program I have ever used. These are some reasons why I love this program, it has a real-time mode protection, web security guard (software), file removal, multiple scan levels, HIPS application control (like windows UAC), custom shield (you can customize how you want your Spyware Terminator Shield to protect you), clamAV (anti-virus software optional), scheduler and so much more!

So it just won't run on startup? Can you run it normally though?. If it still doesn't work try startup manager. http://startupmanager.org/ After you have downloaded it and installed, run the program and find CCleaner on the list. If it's not there click "Add" in top left corner and just find the CCleaner.exe path (not the shortcut).

Wow 12 hours that's a long time. Have you tried using Windows Defragmenter? Or maybe there's a missing file that could be causing this slowness in Defragler when it was installed. In WinXP the latest Defraggler 20.201, my backup drive contains large files of 1,528,000KB. It has been running now for about 12 hours and still has 10 fragmented files, 20% fragmentation. Apparently it takes at least an hour to defrag each file.
Is there a file size limit that would cause this to be faster, or another setting, or anything that can be done to speed up this operation.

YEAY! IT WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!

For some reason my optical drive has stopped working. When I looked at device manager it says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" I don't know what happened, I didn't install any new program or changed settings. I was just working on my documents and rebooted my PC. After that I couldn't find my D: Drive on "My Computer". I tried updating the drive but it said its fully updated. I don't know if I should uninstall it because I might need some special program to install it back or if I could ever install it back. HELP ME please!

My friend gave me this folder locker in DOS version. You just had to put all the files you want to lock in the folder provided "Locker" and click the DOS program and start typing passwords. Now I accidentally moved it to my other friends computer a couple of months ago and he told me he sold his computer in person. He forgot the name of the person and details. Does anyone here know the commands to be able to do that? I don't want any programs used here just the DOS, I want it badly. Don't give program tips or links, I just want to know if anyone can give me the script, command or whatever you call it.
PS: If I remember it correctly you always begin with notepad?

I'm not really concerned about it lol! I always have backups anyway. That to me screams a warning you should alter your browsing/downloading habits if you're getting hit that often. It's only a matter of time before you get hit by one before AVG has updated to include it in it's definitions (if you're not already infected with something).
Auto-Defragmentation
in Defraggler
Posted
This may have been suggested but would it good if Defraggler has an "Auto-Defragmentation" feature? Like it will defrag your recent files when the system is idle for * seconds/minutes/hours???. It may also have an option if the CPU usage is high then the Auto-Defragmentation will halt. These are just some of my ideas. Feel free to add more. If this was suggested before then Piriform has the right to remove this topic.
