A while back I used Recuva to recover some deleted files and was very happy with it. Then 3 days ago I accidentally deleted several *.iso files.
Realizing I had deleted several iso files, I made SURE nothing was written to that disk, ran a deep scan. It found some del files, but NONE of the ISO files???
So I ran a test on a different disk. I copied a DVD iso image to the hdd and the following day day, I del it. I then ran Recuva which again only found deleted NON-ISO files.
Why doesnt Recuva see/find iso filetypes?
